The Avoca Group Announces Tenth Anniversary With Progressive New Initiatives
Princeton, New Jersey - August 12, 2008 - The Avoca Group, the clinical research and clinical outsourcing market’s premier provider of relationship management consulting services is pleased to announce its Tenth Anniversary.
Avoca, founded in 1998, provides comprehensive relationship management consulting to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies as well as their clinical research partners such as CROs, imaging companies, laboratories, and other service providers.
“We founded Avoca to meet a critical need we saw in the industry. With clinical outsourcing on the rise, the relationship between sponsors and providers is becoming more critical. The Avoca Group Announces Opening of its new Technology Center in Princeton, New Jersey
Princeton, New Jersey - January 18, 2007 - Patricia Leuchten, President of The Avoca Group, a Princeton-based strategic alliance and relationship management consulting firm, announced today that the company has opened The Avoca Technology Center.
“Avoca has expanded considerably in both breadth and depth of services, and our technology is leading the way into these new areas. With the addition of new technology professionals, we wanted to have a dedicated facility where they could maintain some independence from the day-to-day business activity while collaborating closely with each other. This new facility fits the bill perfectly,” noted Ms. Leuchten.

The Avoca Group to chair session on the Functional Service Provider Model in Clinical Outsourcing
Patricia Leuchten, President of The Avoca Group, a leading provider of customer relationship consulting and survey research to the pharmaceutical and CRO industries, will present and chair a session at the upcoming 2006 DIA Conference in Philadelphia, PA. Following its inaugural report on The State of Clinical Outsourcing at the 2005 DIA Annual Meeting, The Avoca Group has again this year surveyed leaders in major pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and clinical research service companies to obtain information on trends in outsourcing.
At this year’s conference, Avoca will present not only its 2006 Clinical Outsourcing Survey data on general trends in outsourcing, but also specific data on respondents’ perceptions about the Functional Services Provider (FSP) model, which has the potential to significantly impact the CRO industry.

The Avoca Group to Present Industry Survey Findings and Facilitate Panel of Industry Leaders at DIA 2005

and clinical services providers has been asked to present the results from its 2005 Clinical Outsourcing Industry Survey
at the 2005 Meeting of the Drug Information Association, a leading conference for companies involved in clinical trials
for new pharmaceutical products.
In The State of Clinical Outsourcing: Industry Practices and Perceptions,
The Avoca Group explores the controversy regarding a pure procurement approach to outsourcing
and the pharmaceutical and clinical services industries' perceptions regarding the opportunities,
challenges and obstacles related to current outsourcing practices.
To round out the discussion, executives from Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, and Quintiles,
all leaders in their respective fields, have been asked to participate on a panel facilitated by
Avoca President Patricia Leuchten.
