PRESENTATION: State of the Industry Report — Analysis of The Avoca Group’s Survey of Emerging Technology and Data Sources in Clinical Trials

The Avoca Group will share findings from its 2018 research on innovating clinical trials with improved technology. Approximately 300 individuals from sponsor and provider companies were surveyed to assess and quantify familiarity and usage across a variety of new and emerging technologies and data sources, including those used for patient engagement and enrollment, decision support tools, risk-based oversight tools and technologies, wearables/sensors, and location-flexible/virtual trials. Qualitative data from the research includes common challenges and recommendations on what Providers and Sponsors can do to improve widespread adoption.
